Anyone have any suggestions?

Bob, no suggestions to offer for your ambitious project but I do have a question. Have you checked out the safety of hanging lights over your pool? It was the first thought that struck me when looking at your two hanging patterns. I Googled the question & the results were all cautions against doing that.

And my neighbor turns her lights off late at night too, just like the City of Light Paris. Her last sparkle is well before 11:45 pm, and she doesn't turn hers on 7 days a week like the City of Light Paris does with the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Louvre, and other tourist sites.
