I painted my fireplace a few years ago and I don’t mind it the way it is but sometimes think I’d like something a little more soft or blended. I’m thinking about lime washing it. Any thoughts or ideas? I’ve also considered doing shiplap on the wall to the left of the fireplace but I’m nervous it will be too busy. This room is mainly used as a kids playroom but it’s right off of the kitchen so it’s a view point from my kitchen
