Yes it is a screened porch,it’s is nicely furnished, and looks out to our backyard.

What are the outcomes you are trying to accomplish with your window treatments (filtering harsh lighting, privacy, purely aesthetics, etc.)? What is the overall style of your home (traditional, etc.)? Given the space constraints with the staircase and the angled ceiling line, you might be limited to an inside mount shade of some sort or traditional shutters for the windows flanking the fireplace. If light exposure is not a concern, I would personally avoid going overboard by putting treatments into the awning/clerestory windows and just allow those to let tons of natural light into the space. If you hang a traditional curtain rod in the fireplace area, you also run the risk of cutting a horizontal line into the area, which will compete with the angled chimney IMO. I love me some fancy window treatments, but I think keeping it simple might be the best bet here. Good luck!

I like how it looks now! You have so many windows, that to try to put fabric would look overdone and fussy.

In my Florida home, we did all plantation shutters. In NY we have large slat venetian blinds similar to what you have.

i like to bring in color with the rug, pillows and art.

You might consider draperies in panels along the porch wall and “matching” Roman shades on the two windows flanking your fireplace. The same fabric. Lovely home!

Thank you everyone for your help . I was thinking of Roman shades and side panels but I wasn’t sure. I just know my family room feels like wearing a nice dress with your hair up without earrings.. Also the 2 smaller windows next to the fireplace give too much sun in the afternoon even with the film on. Should I put matching blinds there? Where would you position the Roman shades?

I suggest you hang 3 panels in an off-white or white colour on the large windows and roman shades in coordinating fabric on your windows each side of the fireplace.

I did notice that your accent pillows don't coordinate with your rug, pick some of the colours from the rug for the pillows. I also show a folded throw over the arm of the sofa instead of spread across the back. I've grouped some items in a tray on your coffee table for more impact and also grouped the 2 plants in the corner in pots on legs to give them a taller look.
