Festuca arundinacea 'Glow Sticks'

Happened to come across this on ”Plant Delight’s”website.

couldnt find any references on GWHOUZZ but wonder if anyone has seen it or grows it.

BTW i appreciate forums like GW for providing plant infiormation thats based on actual growing and first hand observation.

A lot of web listings are from wholesalers and retailers who copy and padte the original grower’s

description. Plant Delights had details because it was discovered in their nursery.

I am somewhat risk adverse or at least reserved about jumping on bandwagons early. In the early-mid 2000s i spent a lot money on ” new” echinaceas that died over the winter or never thrived or petered out. But thats an oft-told story. However it was a strong lesson on waiting a while till the ”real” info comes in from the real gardeners with a variety of gardens with varying soils in different zones. Or waiting for the Mt Cuba and Chicago Botanic trials to be published. Or letting gardening collegues with ample budgets ”trial” the new releases for us.
