Can you post a few more pictures? Especially the full wall you are asking about?

Personally, I don't know how much you have to do to the walls but how about some colored pillow or throws and decoration on the coffee table?

Too busy? Yes. Change out the mirrors on the doors somehow - either replace them or paint them the same color as the console.

Too small? No - I think it is too big for the TV.

That console is going elsewhere. I’m just using it to hold the tv until I find something for that space

The pros can help with style. I’d look for a console that’s about 25% wider than the TV.

Select a cabinet that hangs off the wall for a minimal appearance. Wayfair has quite a few to select from.

Find the cabinet first and then see what finishes are offered. When you say brown, do you mean espresso? That finish would complement your fireplace stone and mantel.

If it were my home I would invest in a larger screen TV for this wall and a wall cabinet at least 96" in width.

Your furnishings look fairly modern - take a look at BDI - they have some awesome consoles (they’re expensive, but gee, what isn’t these days that’s worth buying?) Nice ventilation for all your electronics underneath. This one is the short one, but they have ones that are a bit taller (depending on your TV - my hubby HAD to have the 85” one)

Look at Ikea Besta they have great ideas for TV a bit of storage and even a bit of diplay IMO the TV needs to be a bit lower too. And boy do you need lighting and a coffee table that can't be reached from the sofa is useless . The lobe chaire needs a t table that tiny one could work then a bigger one between the 2 chairs and some lamps for sure

The furniture just arrived so I’m in the beginning stages of putting the room together . Any suggestions on where I should put lamps /lighting ? Tall lamps block view and there is nowhere in the ceiling to put a chandelier.

Outlets are a huge problem in this space
