Can you post a photo of the space?

We need to see the space and IMO also a to scale floor plan posted here in jpeg format to really get any help. Post pics and the plan in comments DO NOT start another post We need to know if TV is in the space how many eseats youneed and of course you might find out there is abteer way to lay it out . Always someting that happens when you post a dilemma here. I do not love acent walls that are just slpped on to do nothing so we need the reason why for that too.

Can you post more pictures showing both walls on the left and right so that we can see what is in the room other than the sofa? perhaps also the wall where the above picture was taken from.

If you can declutter a bit and take pictures, that would be helpful. Just easier to make recommendations if you can see the room without the Halloween and kid decor. After something is picked out, back to your fun family life with the kids 😁

Rehang the tryptech so that it is centered on the sectional, not the wall. Art is also hung too high. It should be 8 to 10 inches off the sofa.

No accent wall...there is nothing to accent.

Fan is doing nothing for the room. If you don't need it, get a new ceiling light.

Add a good-sized side table and a nice table lamp to the right of the sofa.

Art over the sofa as mentioned.

Less harsh light bulbs for the ceiling fan.

Lots of issues in this room. There might be a better layout for the room. How would we know?

Replace the ceiling fan with a light with a white fan, ceiling hugger that HAS NO LIGHT. When the ceiling is this low you don't want too much hanging down from the ceiling and being distracting.

Move the sectional away from the wall so you have space to install a floor lamp for the area.

Your art selection is too small, questionable, and is not mounted correctly.

I will provide more photos later today of the whole space. the wall art was hung when we had a couch/ loveseat not a sectional, just hasnt been touched due to painting and redecorating. the lightbulbs for the fan are adjustable via app. we so use the fan though. on the right side of the sofa (as pictured) is a dog bed for our sr dog that doesnt get on the couch. thank you for all the insight
