Design Dilemma Paint

Trim Color Advice

I live the color of my front door, but I can't figure out what color to paint the trim. Any advice? There are stained glass windows on both sides of the door. I don't have another picture of the whole house with the door painted Mount Etna, but I have a whole house picture with the old door color.

You can paint it the same as the door because it's a different window design than the bank of windows on the other side of the door.

Unifying that area with one color will help with wayfinding by clearly identifying where to go to get in to the house - it will feel better. I suspect that's the issue; you're feeling like something is off and can't put your finger on what it is.
