The same 36" radiant range is sold under various brands at various prices:

• Cosmo COS-ERC365KBD ($4189)
• Thor Kitchen ARE36 ($2199)
• Koolmore KMEPR36APSS ($2159)

I'd rather get an induction range instead of radiant:

• Frigidaire PCFI3670AF ($4854)
• LG LSIL6334FE (30 inch; $1800)

Do not buy any of those. Buy a 30” GE.

Sure, the GE Profile PHS93XYPFS 30" induction range performed well in CR's tests but it has digital controls.

Check to see if you have anyone who services in your geographic area any brand you are considering. No guarantees anymore, but you are more likely to find someone who will service a Frigidaire or GE. LG can be a little tougher to get serviced but it depends on the area. Nothing is certain, but I am pretty darn sure that you will find very few if any appliance technicians who will work on an appliance with the brand-name Cosmo or the other two brands that wdccruise mentioned (Thor and Koolmoore). “Look before you leap“
