As much as I hate bench seating in this case it might be the only way to seat 4 I would not do the peninsula to allow a proper table next to the utility area . You will need to use paper on the floor to figure out table size and seating I think a bench for the kids on the wall and 2 chairs for the adults with a rectangular table would work. You might even be able to have a table that can open to seat 6 for a dinner with guests . I always test sizes with carboard or sheets of paper taped then walk if you step on the paper what you are testing is too big . Often what seems to fit in a drawing does not function in real life .

10'6"x10'5". Over 6' between the counters. You can add function for the long counters by adding 4" or 100mm to the depth of each.

The dining table shown on the floor plan below is 27.5" W x 78" L with 3 chairs and a bench.

I've placed the tall cabinets and fridge on the long wall, as placing them on short wall will reduce light in the space. I realise this isn't the best use of space, but would prefer to forgo the peninsula seating than block light from the windows.

What exactly IS the utility space? What is IN it? Can you please convert your drawing to feet and inches?

People can hate on banquette seating but it works, it saves space, it allows you to seat sooo many more...it's a KITCHEN, go for it!

utility space is a complete waste of space - it's there to house a washing machine etc. No i can't convert, as i don't know how, nor do i work in feet and inches.
