I need help with this roof problem.....Winter in upstate NY brings feet of snow and where the 2 roofs come together the ice builds up to sometimes a foot thick. When I see it stops draining I know I have to get someone up there to break the ice off.......most of the time it extends about 2 ft wide and goes up to where the high peak joins....about 6 ft. I would like to reside the place but would also like to fix this roof issue too....I have asked so many roofers and noone has a way to solve the problem. Architects or anyone....please help!
