I'd select one of the lighter more grey-ish beige colors that are in your tile. Paint the ceiling, walls, baseboards the same color. It will open the room up. I think your shower tile is very pretty.

I might pick out the lightest shade in the tile and use that - an ivory, perhaps?

I had a similar situation - two bathrooms in my house had tile a bit like yours but lighter. I didn’t like the tiles and really didn’t like the walls, which were a yellowy-beige. i repainted the walls the same white as the trim (but trim is semi-glass and walls ate eggshell), and it looks so much better!

As Kendrah suggested I would pick one of the lighter colours from your tiles that coordinates with your floor and wall tiles. You can also get the Mapei Grout Refresh and give another colour to the orangy grout, I would suggest a gray.

Are you against going bold? I really like those jewel tones in the shower mosaic against the tile, especially the ruby-red -- be daring and go a rich, deep red or deep green for the walls.
