We paid extra for a custom stain AB select engineered hardwood floor. We signed off a sample and even went to the manufacturing facility to choose the stain. The first is what I signed off on. The following pictures show considerable colour variation and some darker knots. The last picture is the stark contrast in the shade. The flooring company said this is AB select grade. It is our first time buying flooring. Is what the company provided us AB select?
