We are looking for some advice on how to style our staircase, which has some unusual construction (see the attached pictures). We’re thinking of adding wallpaper to the upper portion of the walls and are considering installing a pendant light for a better lighting effect. Our house follows a midcentury modern theme with white walls throughout, and we would like to keep the design cohesive.

We’re DIY enthusiasts but working on a budget, so any suggestions for affordable but stylish wallpaper, lighting ideas, or other creative design tips would be appreciated!
