Is the condo going to be your full-time home? Do you plan to rent it out? If a second home, you could consider removing the uppers by the window for a more open feeling. If you have regular guests or renters, and don't need a ton of storage, having open shelves for attractive and glasses can make a kitchen very convenient and more spacious and will let in more light. It's a simple change that will give you more time to go to the beach!

its too bad the floor and cabs are kind of mismatched. did they restain and surface the floor before the sale ? so its hard to justify stripping off that particular color and starting all over. And then gray patterned counters didnt help it too much. The elements are all good but together you dont have a palette. the cabinets would be the thing to rejuvinate as they look solid for their era. I see a bit of distressing around the knobs and maybe there is more of that but id want to keep them generally in the original condition. Youd have to give all this a lot of thought because ONE change still leaves a feeling that more ought to be changed when you really look. Let's see what other opinions you receive .

IMO the cabinets are dated and to have them painted will cost big $$$$$$ to DIY you would need a place to spray all the doors and drawer fronts so for now I would clean those cabinets really well since I bet that are not clean down to the wood. The hardware looks to habe been updated so leave if right now. I do not like the fact that that cooktop is old and wall ovens next to fridges almost always a bad idea. I think clean it and leave it for at least 3-6 months to get a feel for how that space functions . I think that kitchen will need a new kitchen but wait until you can make sure what you do is right the fist time . When you are ready come back and you will get a lot of good fre advice here take it when offred a lot odfus are actual KDs and many are homeowners who have good working kitchens

You’d have to remove the little 4” piece and also find the right color to match. But I think it can work really well. Giving French cottage vibes.

If you are an accomplished DIYer, I'd consider painting the cabinets a light cream but can't recommend that without seeing what the rest of the space looks like.
