I agree that they are both too small. I would go with the second one in a larger size. I think both styles are great.

@chispa @apple_pie_order The house was build in 1930 and the ceiling is not very high. Also, the beams are centered to the room and not the dining table - for this reason I have errd on the smaller side, since Im not able to center the light the table very well. Perhaps I am going about this wrong and really need to address the beam layout to better center the light on the table first.

@apple_pie_order Im open to styles but want the fixture to ”match the room” and not overpower or disagree with the furniture and mirror. I think the furniture is more Jacobean/gothic. The view is also nice so want to avoid a lot of bulk.

I love the style of the home and the fixtures you selected, but they need to be larger and LOWER. I think when you get them hung closer to the table the beam placement is less of an issue.

I love the all black one. But, perhaps, in another room where it adds ambient light? I suggest the same style in a larger version for the DR. Don’t worry about the beams. Don’t move them!!! It will lead to all sorts of other problems. Just a large scale all black chandelier with Spanish Colonial design.

I would also recommend a larger version of either. these current lights are for hallways

Will agree with other - all the fixtures presented really appear small.

The all black one is the best. I like that it reads more solid and fewer scrolls. It is a nice counterpoint to your furniture. Now, just make it bigger! Easier said than done, I realize. I presume these were vintage fixtures, for which shopping is like digging through a needle in a hay stack. I find google shopping as the best filter for searching for vintage lighting online.

I think the ones that Beverly showed are all too contemporary, This house would have had heavier gothic fixtures just like the all black one you show but a little bigger. They also may well have been a little undersized by today's standards and hung a little higher than now. But the mass can compensate for the smaller diameter.
