Consider Corian, perhaps Glacier White - maybe not. we can’t see your counters. No grout, no visible seams. The only place you might not want it is behind a gas range. You need greater clearance for that than you may have.

Thanks. I won't have the countertops in for about 2 weeks. At that point I'll probably post some pictures with samples. I looked today and was going toward a honed gray basalt or leathered gray porcelain tile. I also got some white samples. I am thinking I'd get grout to be a close match so it's not too busy. And if I got with gray, I don't have to worry about white grout. I also got some glass tiles. Seems they'd be easy to clean but maybe too reflective.

Glass tiles have a modern/contemporary vibe. What does the rest of the space look like?

Is glass too shiny/reflective? My kitchen gets a good bit of sun during most of the day.

As for what it looks like, I'm hesitant to say because I've gotten some raised eyebrows here and in real life, but the designer said it makes him think mid-century modern. I'm not going for any particular look--just clean and I guess more modern than traditional.
