White or cream windows. Black windows with a white house is going to be dated within 10 years. Your house is meant to have shutters. White are cream are neutral.

Your house would fit into my entire 1970's subdivision. We all have white windows with shutters. The houses vary in colour--personal preference. Some folks have replaced the double hung windows with triple sliding windows. I think they look odd on the houses.

White Windows and No to the shutters as you have twin windows and the shutters do not look correct on them.

I would go with white windows, and I would keep the shutters. They do look appropriate on your style house. Not all shutters need to be the type that fit over half a window. Some are purely decorative.

I have no style at all but i think the after photo is not finished and think they might add shutters. I feel like the shutters are needed. But then i also see the comtemporary flair and think that could work. You could do white or cream siding with black windows ( or bronze with the cream). Are the window grills more dated or colonial? Maybe no window grills if going modern

I think the after looks unfinished too. I would prefer the shutters, however, it is your house, and you need to do what you like and want the house to look like. The good thing here is that you can remove the shutters, and just keep them, to replace them back, when you decide they need to be there.

If you are truly intending on doing the siding, have you considered doing the projects together? You will eliminate duplicitous labor and expense as well as get a better installation.
