Honestly how can we help with really no idea of what you have looked at and discarded . What is you dining table like, how big is the space , how high is that ceiling . Do you have AC or are you planning on a fan in the LR space ? The kitchen looks very small so all of this lighting will have to work together . Right now it is too early to choose actaul fixtures just get some cheap ones to light the space even just bare bulbs . Nothing is finished to the point of choosing lights .

I would choose something like this, BUT lighting fixtures are such a personal choice, the 'Jewelry' in your new build. You'll want something that makes a statement that reflects YOU.

Where is the table to be placed? I found one electrical box that I thought could work and placed the table beneath it but it doesn't make any sense. What goes under the loft area?

The loft area, over and above, will have a sitting area, with a railing open to floor below. The area under the loft will be a kitchen, about 11' x 11'. This is a weekend house, so we don't need a huge kitchen there. Where you put the fixture is exactly where I need it.

Patricia, I understand your point. But unexpected delays with the contractor is causing things to be done out of order for us (never did a build before, it's quite an education).

The ceiling height at the peak is about double - 2 story.

The chandelier suspension I think will be about 6-8 feet.

The entire dining room, living room, kitchen area is about 31 feet by 28 feet - 28 feet is on the kitchen wall.

IMO the ceiling height is going to create issues A ding fixture ideally 36-40 from bottom of fixture to top of table with the height ceiling ther eis IMO no way to do that. I asked about the fan becuae any fixture on a cord with beging to sway when a fan turns on so you will IMO need a rod type extencsion on any fixture you buy For sure you need a fixture that lights the table not the ceiling . I like the Nelson bubble lights hung in a group but again they will sway in the air . My advice is go to agood lighting store and get help with that light for sure . Istill think too early for this

You're going to need a canopy that has a pivot joint on it that will allow the fixture to hang straight from an angled ceiling.

Something like this from Hubbardton Forge would be beautiful and they can probably add the correct canopy:

We can design your chandelier to fit in the slope. We just have to stagger the glass according to your slope angle.

I have no suggestions but just make sure the fixture you chose can be used on a sloped ceiling. Not all can.
