Cant get panel ready fridge to look inset help!

We have a Hallman 36" french door panel ready fridge (this also seems to be the exact same fridge as a Zline 36" panel ready fridge) and my cabinet maker can not figure out how to get the fridge to look inset and hallman is absolutely zero help.

We have a shaker style door that has a thinner inner panel, so the brackets for the bottom portion didn't span to the thick part of the frame and it couldn't be attached without putting a backer on it so the screws wouldn't go through the center panel. The doors are 1' and 1/4 thick now.

it seems according to the manual that this is supposed to still be able to be install to look inset, however it keeps hitting the cabinet even with the hinges limited to 90 degrees.

are these not able to match my inset cabinets with a door frame thicker than 3/4? or does anyone have any advice on what to do here?

You order the front frame WITH the door inset and FIXED to the framework. This is my personal kitchen (under construction) from 13 years ago when I did the kitchen. That's the dishwasher to the right of the sink cabinet. Plenty of framework to screw in to.

Just put a stainless sheet on it. It will fail shortly, and you will lose the investment of the panels. As you have discovered, there is ZERO customer service, or repair service for it. And horrible horrible specs.

Panel ready doesn't mean integrated. The hinge system is different along with dimensions. To get to where you want to go, you'll need an integrated frig. Which also will have less capacity than your panel-ready frig. Maybe 2 of the model IKEA offers could work. Electrolux with a 5-year warranty.
