What color hardware should I go with?

I need hardware help. Countertops and faucet are brand new so those won't be going anywhere. Flooring will eventually (5 years) get refinished or replaced. I plan to paint shiplap and brighter white like Snowbound. School house lights will be going in where old pendants are now. So what color hardware should I go with? Aged Bronze, black, something completely different?Additional info: this house was built in 2005 so it was very Tuscan Craftsman colors and such. My taste is more cottage, traditional. Walls will eventually be a light color with mid to light grayish trim to balance things out a bit. I'm trying to come up with a plan cause my door hinges have crapped out and are an ugly brass. But I don't want to replace them with anything until I have a plan for the rest of the hardware in the house.

You put new counters over old cabinets. That always makes your old cabinets look 😩Are you planning to paint the cabinets? Reface them? Were you hoping to not change them at all?

I like your new counter surface, it is neutral and versatile. I even like your floors, but the honey maple cabinets are a little - you need inspiration images. Share with us images of your favorite cottage kitchens, it’ll give you some direction. Here are some I found that are based on wood and neutrals. You could absolutely introduce color if you want that. A lot of them use brass hardware btw, but nicer brass than your older hinges might have been.

Which door hinges will you be replacing? In the kitchen? or elsewhere? At the moment I see nothing objectionable to the black hardward that you have now. Are the school house lights that you hope to use available in all the finishes that you list?

IMO hardware is one of the last choices to make and what door hinges ? What is the finish on the faucet since that is staying. IMO too may things are going to change so do all the changes then choose hardware color . IMO the raised counter is a huge dated look are you planning on changing that ? Wall color , backplash and hardware last choices to make

This looks like a warm and friendly kitchen with beautiful cabinets and flooring. The black pulls and knobs look fine because they have a nice contrast with the wood and their simplicity coordinates well with the kitchen style.

When you are looking to change the door hinges throughout the house, it's good to match them with the doorknob finish. Do you have photos of a doorknob and (worn) brass hinge?

Also, will the hinge replacement be builder grade, medium grade or luxury grade? Or are you planning to paint the hinges and re-install them?
