Do they still make the old heavy linoleum or sheet vinyl? I mean like the kind that’s high gloss, and you can drag a washing machine across it with no damage. The kind that’s in my house built in the mid 80s. My other 80s house had it too.

I redid the bathroom floor before selling the old house, due to shower tile leaks. And I wasn’t happy with the choices I found. It seemed so fragile, like one little scuff would tear the paper thin design off it.

Now I had to rebuild parts of the bathroom floor in this house due to toilet pipe leaks which are now repaired. I’m not in a hurry to replace the flooring, because I want to find something really good. It’s just me here anyway. I don’t want tile or interlocking pieces. I want a continuous sheet of durable glossy vinyl with beiges, tans, browns. I like the old school vibe too. It wouldn’t take much, a 6 x 6 piece would be more than enough.
