On this model of minisplit, activating the swing function is discretionary. I do think the fixed grate represents as small, well considered compromise between performance and aesthetic. Most if not all of our projects entail similar such decisions. In bL's view, it is the our job to provide our clients with the criteria, pros, cons and opinions.
