Ceilings, flat paint. Walls, matte or eggshell paint. Trim, satin or semi gloss depending on how much gloss you want. I use semi gloss on trim, but, many like a bit less and use satin. Trim etc, should not be regular wall type paint. Use paint made especially for trim. You mentioned flat paint on walls. Thats not the best choice, because, if you need to clean a spot, flat does not clean well.

I would use satin on the doors and mantle if that's what your using on the trim,

Eggshell on the walls and semi gloss on the trim and doors. Eggshell has a bit of sheen, so looks nice, and is very forgiving if the paint crew is not top notch. Semi gloss looks fab and wears well.🙂
