Should Have Made a New Post re Sick Roses

Scoll down for first post on …”Hope”. i’ll insert the after pic again below. While I’m here, I’d appreciate recommendations for any other roses that behave as *wonderfully as icebergs and Julias..if there are any such.miracles .

i am too negligent to go back to my gorgeous hybrid teas, even though they stopped my heart with their beauty, and I do miss them. ( a few picss below). I just can’t cope any more with the

ugly diseases and awful thorns.

On right is Just Joey ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I’ll try to find one on left. Little scent and meaner thorns, tho.

Martinca, I have only seen this thread, so I don't understand what your rose disease problems were or where you garden (Cal?) and under what conditions. I have lots of rose recommendations I could make if I understood more about your situation. If you want something like Just Joey, I'd recommend the rose Abbaye de Cluny, a big HT Meilland Romantica I've grown for years totally trouble free. It's a continuous bloomer and the blooms have a color very similar to Just Joey's. That's as far as I'll go for now. Love your bouquets and kitchen photo. Diane

June--just trying to show the months this rose bloomed with good health. We have no disease issues in this semi-arid hot summers area.
