What's wrong with it? It looks quite nice as-is. When it's time to replace the roof, choose a warmer color that better coordinates with the stone work and siding.

It’s a lovely home and doesn’t need much. If you’re itching to do something, I’d tweak the landscaping by adding some color. And I am in the minority here - I love shutters. However, I’d probably remove the ones on the large left window and the interior right angle windows. Just keep the ones that are front facing. In reality, if this was my home, I’d happily live with it as is and use my money for something else.

Improve the landscaping.

I’d remove the shutters. Completely unnecessary. And the beds circled below. They look random and unrelated to the rest of the landscaping. Also, the walkways would look better if they were the same. Either do a solid concrete walk or do steppingstones. Not both. Or, if you really want to spend some bucks, do stone walkways to match your house.

Otherwise, it’s a lovely home.

Same as others. Remove shutters (tomorrow), better landscaping, paint the front door a more interesting color, improve landscaping. But really the shutters are just visual clutter on a very nice house.

Thank you! It is a nice home I hope to buy. It's on a street with more moderns houses with hardi board siding no stone and columns so it stands out a bit. In person, it's a little more worn. Either way, its nice but I think without the shutters and some paint it will be amazing

Be aware that, depending on the age of the house and the exposure, the stone and/or siding can be DARKER underneath the shutters since those areas didn’t get sunlight. Remove one and see if that’s the case.

This is a gorgeous house! If you do end up being its owner, definitely get a landscape designer out to discuss the front. The bushes look too formal.

When you say “it’s a little more worn” can you elaborate? Are the shingles looking sad? Does the roof look like it’s time to get a new one? I would bring a professional to assess all of this so you can negotiate a better price if it’s not been taken 8 to consideration.
