The customer wanted to change the contemporary look of the drywall fireplace that her builder built when she moved in. She loved the look and texture of stone, but new she couldn't have real stone. The option was using thin stone veneers which are about and 1"-2" thick depending on the style of stone.

The color was light, yet but still in the earth tone colors. The style of stone is a dry stack ledge stone. The last picture shows the addition of a see through clock. It was easy to drill through the stone veneer and secure a fastener and hang the clock.
