"Employees Only" Door for Office or Tiny CEOs

last year

I got this vintage commercial door off Facebook Marketplace and we're using it as an office door (or a playroom for tiny CEOs lol). The hardware is original and I absolutely love it but it looks a little bit unfinished with the random hole. There's already a bar to push it open and a handle on the other side to pull, as well as a lock, so my first thought is that it wouldn't make sense to put another knob there? Ideally I don't want to have to use wood filler and would prefer to find a vintage plate or something to hide the hole, but I can't find one smaller than standard 2"+. Any idea on where I can look or other creative solutions?

In addition, I've looked for a replacement kick plate (ideally vintage with similar worn look) but it is a difficult size, at 39.5" x 4". Most are 36" max, even if I were to buy a new one and patina it myself. Ideas welcome!
