I need to replace my range. I currently have a DCS RGTC-305 30" five burner all gas range, 16 years old. I want to keep a similar style - stainless, flat top. I haven't found the five burners on the DCS helpful - I rarely have more than three in use, though I do value the power of the center burner. (I can't find the specs. By memory I think the burners were 21,00/17,500(2)/1,200(2). )

I mostly use the top burners. I don't do a lot of baking, and when I do it is not very demanding, so oven features are of less concern to me.

I've been shopping at a couple of showrooms to size up the possibilities. Both have steered me toward Thermador or Monogram. I have also seen an F&P similar to what I have.

The models I've seen are:

- Thermador PRG304WH (4-burner) & PRG305WH (5-burner)

- Monogram ZGP304NTSS (4-burner)

I think any of these would suite my needs.

Does anyone have experience with or opinions about these that would help me decide?
