alternative rug pad for Ruggable rug

last year

I need washable rugs because you enter from the front door and garage door directly onto hardwood floors. No tile transition. We just purchased the home and the floors were recently refinished. Looking to protect the floors before snow starts up. I have not liked reading the reviews on the Ruggable rug pad developing mold and trapping moisture under the rug and ruining the floor. I bought a rubber/ felt pad from Rugpad USA to try under a Ruggable 2.5 x 7 runner. It grips the rug pretty well but there are a few ripples that need to be flattened out everyday. Has anyone found another rug pad that works? I asked Rugpad USA if they had a pad with a rougher textured felt than the one I bought and they do not. Who else makes a top quality all rubber /felt pad that I can try to see if it grips better?
