Have you actually priced out all new flooring? When you do please price out the vinyl and price out an engineered hardwood or high end laminate as you may be surprised that a real wood isn’t that much more. The bulk of a new floor budget will be tile removal and floor prep. Let budget guide you and then when you have it narrowed down post back with photos of your options. New paint color(s) throughout that lighten things up would be a huge improvement if you decide the floor budget is too much.

The floors definitely could use an update…. Just be sure that the new floor color really works well with the wood tone of your cabinets. Just noticed - no cabinet handles/hardware?

I don't think the floor is bad at all. Whatever you do, do the same throughout the first floor, since you kitchen is an open area. Personally, I'd go with hardwood, but context might matter here -- where are you located? Is this a beach house? Cold climate? Warm climate? Tile throughout the whole house makes sense in some instances.

An advantage to LVP is that it can be installed over the tile. No mess from removing the tile.

Covering/replacing the tile would be my first choice. If it’s not in the budget you can get grout paint in a color closer to the tile. It’s time consuming but super easy and affordable.

I'd leave it alone. Looks fine in my opinion and LVP would be a down grade.
