THat FP is gorgeous. I would leave it as is but work on your decor. First remove the mirror. Put the art from the right wall on the mantel with the other two pieces. In decor odd numbers are more pleasing to the eye.

What to do with the fireplace? Highlight it as the beautiful feature it is!

Oh, the fireplace is beautiful! It is a classic and yours is exceptionally well done. I agree about the removal of the mirror. A mirror should only be placed where it reflects a beautiful scene.

I would keep it. You have a wall color that harmonizes very well with it. But I would adjust the mantle decor. Replace the mirror with a painting, center it, then arrange the smaller pictures and objects so you have some kind of symmetry on either side. It doesn't have to be perfectly symmetrical, but it should be balanced. Right now, it looks off balance, with the largest object off to the left.

May be make it coordinate with coffee table top and hearth?

I’m late to the party, but yes I like your fireplace wall too. And I like how you have redone the mantel arrangements without the mirror! If it were me, I don’t think I’d hang anything, though, because there’s not much room there between the mantel and ceiling. Just rest everything on the mantel.
