Currently you have little contrast between house and trim color. What is your goal if you paint the brick white? Once painted it can’t be unpainted. Think about trim changes, front door, sidewalk approach to house.

Is the brick currently painted grey or is it grey brick? If it is already painted then yes paint it another color. I can't imagine that white and the grey roof is going to bring any pizazz to the situation though. What is your idea for trim colors with that scheme?

So the previous owners bought this house a year ago and flipped it. It used to be a natural brick and had shutters. I just don’t love the gray. I kind of think if I painted it white, I could add shutters back on to it and paint them light blue along with the door. Or if I left off the shutters, I want to add some more climbing vines with greenery contrasting the white. What do you think

The landscaping isnt great. You could make some big improvements there. Those hedges, do not look good at all. I would remove them. The best thing is to have a landscape firm, make a design that you can do yourself little by little. Some rounded plant beds would be nice. Some colorful pots of plants, etc.

I don't think shutters make sense on this house. The trellis does add a lot. I wonder if keeping the grey and adding a blue black trim on the windows and doors makes sense? I don't mind the grey paint at all, but I agree with you that something is missing.

Indeed the landscaping can be improved. But it seems like something that can evolve over time and you'll still want a bit more oomph to the house itself. It looks like someone who needs a bit of mascara to help define their eyes.

Now the best part of the house IMO was the brick so now you are stuck with painted brick . So what color do you like that is th question. I think the landscpaing needs to be redone. Are you in the country or city ?I like the white with thegray but a nice color for the front door would be good. The landscaping hides the house so fix that then decide if you really need a new color. I agree landscping will be the first step. What style are you hoping to have ? IMO close to a MCM ranch play it up with a new door, landscaping and have a great looking place . I love MCM and this is my fave for inspiration for both landscaping, house color and front door. But you need to decide what style you love.

What is see is a too-light roof. Get a darker roof if that's in the budget. But decide on whether you're going to keep the brick paint color as-is or a change it, the roof needs to harmonize with the rest of it.

Agree with improving the landscaping, I would also try to improve the look of the carport posts perhaps beefing them up a bit - nice pop of color at the door would be fun (coral?)

I would replace the trellis with a pretty ornamental tree - maybe a Japanese maple dep on where you live

Totally agree with the roof and the landscaping. The only issue with the roof is that it is brand new as the people who flipped it, had a new roof installed. So that feels wasteful to replace something that is brand new but I do wish they went with a darker color

I feel the hedge needs to go, it closes off you entry and for me is too much of a linear affect along the the linear lines of your house.

If the house has a new roof and paint job, leave them. You'll probably need to paint the house again in 10-15 years. I would paint the door a fun color --- maybe a burgundy to match your flowers (are they rhodos?). I'd remove the plants in front of the door (you can transplant them elsewhere) and have a visible path to the door, perhaps matching the driveway, except with smaller pavers.

It's a nice house with good curb appeal. If you, personally, don't like the color, that's one thing. But I don't think you're going to add any curb appeal for others with a paint job.

Oh, and if you want a Japanese maple, make sure you put it far enough from the house so it won't scrape your house on a windy day 10-20 years down the road. The former owners of our house put in a lovely Japanese maple right next to the house. It's now reaching the 3rd floor windows and just way, way too big for the space. We've contemplated taking an axe to it.

You have a nice house, all it needs is perhaps a new front door and refresh the overgrown landscaping.

The picture was a bit dark so I highlighted the white trim, put in a new door and porch (was hidden by shrubs in your picture), and new landscaping keeping some on the left side... All done in PowerPoint.

I agree it's all about the front door area but what I also notice about curb appeal are the oil stains inside the carport on the parking pad. Get some de-greaser.

Is the pad a different shade of concrete from the driveway? If so, after it's cleaned maybe paint it with some garage floor coating to match the gray roof, and easier to keep clean.
