You have to decide how dramatic you want to go -- dark or light, simple or dramatic. Powder rooms allow a lot of freedom of expression. But I'm not sure you can plan and execture this in two weeks!!

Hard to know how to make suggestions without knowing your style, what you need to do or store in here, etc.

If it were me and I wanted a quick update, I would just paint a nice fresh color above the beadboard, declutter, add a Ruggable and remove the cabinet.. but if you have lots of other things to get done for the holidays I wouldn’t add this stressy and unneccessary project to the list :)

IMO a rip out and do over is a must not going to happen soon. I agree a good declutter and a new wall color with maybe some new towels . Take that shelving out of there too Then paln on a complete do over when time and money allow. No kids potty chair there eiither when you have guests.

This is a beautiful traditional bathroom with vintage style. It could be transformed with paint or wallpaper.

Try this: Buy one roll of peel and stick wallpaper to try out as a shelf liner - maybe for those small shelves on the storage unit. It will be pretty clear in a few minutes if you would like to use it on your walls. It's not a quick job to get it applied on a wall without wrinkles, especially with a child who may be very interested in peeling it off!

I love real art in a bathroom! I am with the majority. pull a great color from your favorite painting and paint the wall above the wainscot. new towels, trash can, sink access have fun!

I'm a bit confused on the layout. In one photo the sink looks like it's in a corner. In another it looks like it's on an open wall with a doorway next to it.

A floorplan sketch would sure help.

Wallpaper would certainly be an easy transformation of the look in your bathroom. You've certainly received several nice examples, all depends on what colour scheme would suit your home and your taste. For additional changes, you can perhaps replace your vanity light, cannot really see what your have.
