HI! Has anyone used Taj Mahal by Vector in their homes? Trying to decide between a few choices but can't find any inspiration online at all; Only with the quartzite.
Sorry but quartz is IMO a horrible choice for kitchen counters and I have no idea who thought plastic was great idea in a space with hot pots and hot ranges. Go check out some real stone like granites for instance often the same price as quartz and just so much better . Seeing anything in some one elses house helps not at all .. BTW that slab looks nothing like a real slab of Taj it have no depth like a real stone.
Roochyroo - I don’t have any personal experience with that product however based on the looks it seems like 1,000 other similar quartz tops out there. Best to just focus on the exact slabs you can get and compare it to your exact finishes you will be using. If you have white cabinets it’s super important to get a door or large paint sample of it to the slab along with your flooring and wall paint color. Only then will you know if this is the right one for you. Anyone else that has experience with it has their own unique finish combinations with it (but their input on wear and tear and normal maintenance might be helpful). Best to get your fabricators input on it in relation to your layout as patterned quartz’s sometimes get tricky to seam (if say you have an L or U shaped layout).
Are you still trying to decide on this product? If you moved on what did you get?
If not, look into Casablanca quartz out of Vietnam. They are the suppliers of the Vector stone quartz. I found it odd that they had a section in the care and maintenance for dealing with stains. There are brands of quartz that regard themselves as stain resistant and Cambria is even guaranteeing their tops to not stain.
