Maybe something with a bit more grey undertone, like Egret White? I would get some various samples of different whites and tape them here, so you can see how they work in your lighting and how the undertones look against the tile.

Have you definitely decided that you want to use a white paint on your walls? What color is your vanity?

White Dove is a warm white, so next to something that is grayer it will show as yellow or peach. Decorators White, Pure White, Extra White and Egret White would all be cooler, less yellow than White Dove.

Thanks everyone! I ended up going with SW pure white and I’m really happy. It looks nice and warm in the bathroom. A bit stark in our other bathroom (which is north facing), but great in our kids’ bathroom. The vanity is Pental Quartz in Luce Cascade and it’s a little dingy next to pure white, but I’m happy with the results! It’s amazing how cuckoo white paints can make you! Who knew?! 🤣 here’s the before and after of the paint.

Was that little sample of paint down in the lower corner of the wall (initial photo) SW Pure White? I wondered if that would be a good white - but I didn't know what your materials were used for your vanity/countertop.

Yes, but I don’t think it was a true representation because I did a couple coats over white dove and all the white dove underneath may have changed the color… I have learned so much from remodeling two bathrooms and I would never do this on my own again. I would definitely hire a designer whose work I love… It was very stressful and I had no idea how things were gonna look until they were done. I think mood boards are very, very important and I never did that.

@Kate Mauge are your floor tiles makoto? are they grey or white? I didnt have enough time to order a sample so having a hard time. Love how yours looks with the cloe white!
