Need help with fabric.

Selected the below fabric for a new sectional. below are 2 pics of tye fabric with the top one shown with a rug i think might work. wondering if i do the sofa in this fabric along with this rug, can i also do a shearling or boucle type chair or is it too much textire? i can change the fabric to a quieter more one note fabric if need be. had a hard time finding a rug i liked.

According to their website, this is the option "plush linen", for people's information. I'm unfamiliar with their sofas. The color of rug, to me, would depend on the color of your walls, the orientation of the house, the color of your floors and the other furnishings in the room.
