Where is the overhead electrical box located in the ceiling?

This will have a big influence on the size and shape of the table.

Looks like there are major traffic thoroughfares at the ”bottom” of this room, so I’d buy the biggest table and chairs that would comfortably fit when pushed toward the bay window.

How many seats do you NEED?

IMO easy to change electrical but we need info . How manty seats whet is your style etc ??? That is ahuge breakfast room but has a lot of traffic through it so info please

What bay window ?

The space before the door opening is 14 ft by 7 ft. There are small hanging pendants in the ceiling over that space.

But where are they located.? Come on. Try to keep up.

It’s hard to tell but the roof is angled so they are kind of line up to be centered on the wall.

How many are in your household and are you looking to seat? Do you have big family breakfasts, do you only plan to eat breakfast here? A large round table centered in the room makes sense to balance out the rectangular windows, however, I'd prefer a long rectangular table by the windows so I could look outside while eating. It would also keep the entry paths clear.

Since you need to seat 6, I suggest you buy a rectangular table with 6 chairs (2 per side and one at each end) pushed toward the window wall to not impede traffic patterns.

You could have saved everyone time by starting with a photo first.

Looks like the existing lighting will be inadequate for the space so I have changed that.
