Fig fruit is not toxic to dogs......but the plant itself is. Your choices are to pick off the fruit before it fully ripens or remove the tree.

Thank you for your response. I found that same information. Unfortunately, this is a Weeping Fig tree not the more common fig tree. This trees fruit as well as leaves are toxic to pets. I do appreciate you looking into it though. That was kind.

My advice remains the same - remove any fruit or remove the tree. There is not an easy or practical method to prevent the tree from fruiting and could prove even more toxic than fruit consumption. Just pick 'em off.
