heat shield for cabinets

Hi everyone, I recently diy renovated my kitchen and learned a lot of hard lessons. My over is very close to cabinets as shown in picture. Do I need to worry about heat and install a heat shield. Is there a heat shield that would not look like ca sore thimb on cabinets?

No picture. Heat shields are internal to the cabinet build and install. NO applied anything will make up for incorrect clearance to combustibles. A fire hazard is a fire hazard, even when covered with metal. The metal just transfers the heat through.
