I had tons of photos that Google appropriated over the years until Houzz cracked down. I mean dozens and dozens of photos. I would click on Google images and start scrolling, and there they were. Nothing is safe on the internet. The companies I designed for gave up enforcing copyright infringement, even though they lost profit from the theft. My stuff is for sale all over the secondary market on the internet and has been for years. My response to photo usage by Google was a shrug. They took the photos from Garden Web and later Houzz. I lost control of the photos by posting them on these two websites. Diane

I take it as a compliment and since I take screenshots of other rose pictures it does not bother me one bit! I once saw my Halloween costume I designed on a blog, and they did not give me credit but my face was in the picture. I'm not going to make money off of my pictures. I wish we would all share more. Now if my livelihood depended on it I would not post other people's pictures and would expect the same from others.
