Regal Gentleman on YouTube

last year

I stumbled across this guy ( who is not too hard on the eyes) on YouTube. He is an incredibly talented barber. I just love watching the transformations he does on men! He’s a kind of barber/therapist. He really talks to his clients about their hopes and dreams for their hair.

He just posted a compilation of his favorite cuts of 2024. Some are just spectacular!

Ive been fascinated with this and also sheep shearing. Don’t ask. There is something mesmerizing about it. Okay, laugh if you want.

Interesting, especially the guy with a 12-year ponytail. He looked fantastic after the cut. Thanks for sharing.

I watched quite a few of his videos while preparing to cut DH's hair during the pandemic. He's very precise in how he cuts hair. Based in London from what I could tell. Who doesn't love the Brits?

I think he sounds Scottish. What do you think?

I can't understand the Scots and the Irish so he must be English. ;)

How fun! Of course, being a Francophile, the frenchman was my favorite-love that hair. Dan Gregory is pretty darn cute, too. ;-)

Love his British accent. The Parisian gentleman is so darn handsome and I love how the 12 year ponytail guy turned out.

Some of them looked like different people after yheir makeover. I was most impressed with the long haired guy and also the second Asian fellow.

A good hair stylist worth the money.

I wish he would cut women's hair, too!

Would he please cut my hair (and grow it thicker).

I stumble upon a similar latin version. Young men travel from hours away to get their hair cut. Sometimes their mother’s are the ones who find him.

    Fun to see transformations.

I don’t think he’s Scottish. Maybe Welsh? He has a more cultured brogue with some words. I worked with many British people for quite a few years. Many of them sounded like this guy, but you could begin to pick out regions of England after a while, much like one can here in the US. I’m a bit rusty with that though.

    Fun to watch, so thanks,

This thread is from ten months ago, bumped up by Casey Jane, her first post. Hmm.

Nevertheless, this barber’s work is outstanding. I believe he rolls his r’s a bit. Maybe the remnants of a Scottish burr? No idea.

On Instagram, I love jackmead_stylist. He does women's cuts of all ages and he is magical!

Not Scottish, sounds like he's from the north of England, Yorkshire or Lancashire. Best British accents, imho. You can tell by the short U's. One of the best parts of Game of Thrones were the Starks' accents.

    Interesting, Bunny. I didn’t know.
