I did not even know that we DO have snowplows here in Jacksonville.

It is another night in the trenches for me.

Yes, I am on the ready for snow and ice. I started to set up last week when it was warmer. I have 2 heat lamps in each of the green houses. They have been closed up since Sunday morning, so it is nice and tropical in there. I monitor the inside temps with a Bluetooth thermometer, so I do not have to go outside to get my readouts.

The hostas are going to be real happy as this has been a colder January. My only concern will be the daylilies as they are already starting to come up.

These were at my local Lowe's the other week all of them the Sun Hosta Hosta, which does very well here. They were starting to look like sad lettuce tho

Here they are this morning. wet and cold but hungry. Both of these parents are excellent providers. There is another one just born in Jacksonville 2 days ago. I do not follow that one as I was trying to find the nest. I have seen the parents, and they did a fly over my lake, so they may be close ...
