You will need to repaint the cabinets with a cabinet paint, and they are usually either satin or semi gloss. Regular paint, is not for cabinets. Cabinet painting is a lot of prep, including cleaning very well, filling in any nicks, or gouges, or scratches, and a very good sanding, with a coat of top quality sealing and bonding primer before you paint.

Industrial wood coatings come in gloss levels, not "sheens". You can get anything from a 5 to a 95 gloss level.

What level would be satin finish? I am not doing it, a company is doing it but I have to choose the color. Thank you

All brands can show different. I would have your painter, spray paint both sheens on a piece of wood, and that way you can see how you like them.

We have and like satin finish on our cabinets. Ours are painted in BM Aura, but they were done 15 years ago so not sure how similar it is to today's Aura—at the time we did our kitchen, you could no longer buy Satin Impervo oil-based paint, which had previously been our cabinetmaker's go-to paint, in our state and Advance had not yet been released, so he was using Aura.

Cabinet specific coatings are not available at a house paint store. Your cabinet finisher should be purchasing from a cabinet supply house, or a fine finishes wholesaler. They should be taking the lead on this, and showing you the options available. A 20-35 sheen is a mild gloss level, and would be what many people would refer to as "satin". But each line of finish has different options, and your finisher should show you those options.
