Looks like this is a passage way into the living room so I would only place frames on the wall. Family pictures in black & white would look nice.

It seems that your color palette is neutral. i think you could get away with some color on the wall, maybe even something whimsical. I was readiing a Houzz article yesterday and the designer was talking about not taking ourselves so serious when it came to adding color and art.

These may not be your taste, but they are just ideas.

I would do a large piece of art that makes you smile when you look at it. Nothing else since that is a passageway .

Move your gallery wall.

If you must have a "gallery" wall move that to that empty spaot but be awre there is no way this is how art is hung in a gallery . IMO remove the gallery wal from tta TV wall and do not hang it on this empty space but go find a nice large piece you LOVE for that empty wall. If you inssiet on somme type of gallery wall then it needs no closk ever and hung so the center of the arrangement is at eye level MY opinion is this type of diplay is an insult to the pieces you hang .

Add a statement piece. Check out etsy.com for ideas.

A wrapped canvas could be an interesting addition to the room.
