I would not paint the brick. I would paint the shutters and door blue. Do you have a place to plant shrubs near the house? If so, plant it up. I'd also put some plants below and next to the driveway. You have a big front yard. I'd put a lovely flowering tree in. Dogwood. Silverbells.

The bright white porch railing and pillars (they actually look like toothpicks) make the house look cheap.

How much room is separating the house from the asphalt? Planting something there to give the house some separation from asphalt would be a great improvement. Maybe VERY SHORT (24”or so mature height) perennial grasses. It’s unfortunate the garage is located awkwardly, requiring the driveway to be smack in front of the house.

Is the retaining wall necessary? Is it holding the driveway up? Facer brick (to match your house brick) adhered to the wall would help.

I would not paint the brick. 1. It is the nicest feature of the house. 2. Painted brick is a PITA to maintain. Just gently clean the bricks. Read about it, don't blast it with a pressure washer.

Do you know how to do an exterior photos search on Houzz? Use ranch and brick key words to try to find images and colors you like.

I'd remove the shutters and beef up the posts and railings.

The retaining wall doesn't look bad to me. Plant around it if you don't like the looks of it.

Your shrubs badly need trimming.
