Hello! We purchased a cabin with an automatic gate and Linear AK 11 keypad. It will be used as a vacation rental. I’m aware that multiple gate codes can be stored, but there is no way to change those codes remotely with this keypad.

Is there anything out there to make this particular keypad smart without requiring guests to use an app? Ideally, we’d like to program codes specific to the guests’ cell numbers and have them expire upon checkout. There is wifi available at the gate.

The cabin is in a remote location and we live several hours away. I don’t want to rely on guests having already downloaded an app to open the gate, and having us let them in remotely sounds like a pain.

Trying to avoid having to replace this keypad, but is it even possible to accomplish with this existing one? I am obviously not tech savy. I just need to know where to start to get the job done. Thank you!
