I would look for a really fab huge piece of art for that wall across from the opeining take the blinds off and do somce faux silk drapes in a color from the art and you have beaituful floors remove the rug IMO do the drapes really full like 3x the width of the rod so thya look equally full when closed . If heat or UV control is need do solar shades to allow you daytime privacy but you get to keep the view .If thta is real tree great if fake garbage .

What are the dimensions of the room? It doesn’t look like there’s really enough space to comortably use a sideboard.
