I was considering a Maax brand shower insert, but just got done reading their reviews on ConsumerAffairs and other sites, and it looks like Maax is junk and even contractors hate it.

The main problems are: the shower pans crack and squeak, the shower surrounds crack or are warped, and the install is a huge pain and takes much longer than it should, even for professional installers.

Is there a better brand shower insert that is built well, will not crack, is easy to install and easy to keep clean? Hoping for 15+ year life out of this shower.

Looking at Aquatic, but I think they are owned by Maax. They seem to have good reviews though. If I go with Aquatic, am I going to regret it?
