We need a to scale floor plan of the whole space including what is thre built in now. Every window , doorway where those lead , every meausrement clearly marked done on graph paper ideally . My son’s closet is about 7’ wide and 42” deep and I wish it were mine. It has elfa installed, with drawers, and some deep shelves as well as normal shelves, and the side walls have hooks for his robe, hoodies, lanyards, etc. I would love to have that, but I don’t want a walk-in.

People use their closets for various purposes, not just clothes on hangers, so I would not judge too hastily.

The picture that shows the L shaped wall with the slanted roof has plenty of space for installing a closet system, but it does not show the rest of the room, so it depends. Is this a small closet or part of a room? That will tell you if you need with or without doors. If it's part of a bedroom you will need doors, and that will affect the depth of the partitions and shelves.

The most important thing before you decide what to do, is accurate measurements, due to the sloping ceiling and the fact that there are outlets and a light switch on one wall, then you will have to make an inventory of what you plan to store in that area. That will tell you which components you need. If you plan on storing long dresses you will need hanging, if it's shoes you will need shelves, if it's small items you will need drawers. Inventory need to be done first.
