thresholds with brick

I have a threshold that makes two 90 degree angles at a fireplace/brick floor with a floating floor. Any suggestions?

Floating floor gut straighter and use the same mortar that is on the brock (or as close as possible).

So your saying clean up the edges of the floor, the. Just mortar it? Wouldn’t it break since it would be so thin? I thought about doing that but the floors are so detached. I’ve never done floating floor till now but I can say I will never do it again. Wood floors go down so much easier and much more forgiving.

" Wouldn’t it break since it would be so thin? "

Possibly, probably but should have thought of this before the flooring went down. Its a floating floor you cannot attach something on top it and the brick is not the same height as the floor. Use mortar colored caulk and backer rod if you need.
